Traveling motions of crane bridges and trolleys, bucket lifts and other hoisting gears. The switch is fitted in such a way that due to the traveling motion the switch lever is running on a straight edge thereby swinging the lever out of its centre position. The lever limit switch consists of a lever and a switch part which are rigidly connected. The shaft is moved rotationally form-fit by the drive lever up to max. 85 ° into each direction; it is limited mechanically. Forced deflections of the lever exceeding 85 ° will destroy the lever return motion mechanism.
